 In EME2040 Introduction to Educational Technology, I hope to gain a better understanding of how to effectively integrate various technological tools into the educational environment to enhance both teaching and learning experiences. I am particularly interested in learning about the latest educational technologies, how to use them to engage students, and strategies for incorporating these tools into lesson plans. My goal is to apply this knowledge by designing innovative, technology-enhanced learning activities that foster student engagement and improve learning outcomes in my future classroom. By mastering these skills, I aim to create a dynamic and interactive learning environment that prepares students for a technology-driven world.

In my previous educational experiences, I have actively used technology to support my academic career. I have utilized tools such as Canva, online educational platforms such as Khan Academy, and digital resources to facilitate classroom activities and assignments. For instance, I have created presentations on Canva to help organize information I have learned. These technologies have allowed me to more effectively address diverse learning needs. Additionally, I have collaborated with peers through online platforms to share resources and best practices, which has been instrumental in enhancing my teaching methods.

My personal learning network includes a blend of online and offline resources that support my interests in technology, education, and personal development. I regularly engage with online communities such as educational technology forums and social media groups where professionals share insights and resources. I also follow blogs and podcasts related to technology to stay updated with the latest trends. Offline, I attend local workshops and conferences to network with peers and learn from experts. Additionally, I am currently exploring new skills in digital content creation and have been using platforms like YouTube and to access tutorials and courses. These resources collectively help me stay informed, refine my skills, and pursue my interests in educational technology and beyond.
